Transferring Your Files to Us

File Transfer Options

Below is a list of several different ways you can send your artwork to us. We want to make this process as easy for you as possible, so please use whatever method is most convenient for you and will work for your desired turn-around time. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.

Via FTP

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is the best way to get your files to us quickly, and it works well for larger files. The procedures are slightly different for clients using MACs and PCs, so we've outlined both below.

For Windows PC Users:

Windows users should do the following on their PC:

  • Click Start
  • Select Run...
  • Where is says Open: Copy and Paste:
     ftp.bannersandsignsplus.com/customeruploads
  • Hit OK to get to the Login Prompt
  • Enter "customer" (without the quotes) for the User and Pass
  • Select Logon to Connect to the FTP Server

This will open up a Windows Explorer window and you can see the folders and files on the FTP Server. You should create a new folder with your company name. Click on that folder you just created.

Open up a Windows Explorer window or click on My Computer on your PC, and locate the files you want to send to us. Highlight the files on your PC you want to send to us and Copy them. Now Paste them in the folder you just created on the FTP server with your company name.

Once you're files are finished uploading, please be sure to contact your account representative to let them know you've uploaded your files.

For MAC Users:

If you are using a MAC, you can use your built-in FTP software or download the free trail version of Fetch at http://fetchsoftworks.com for your MAC OS version.

We've listed the FTP login information below that you'll enter into your FTP software to upload your files directly to our FTP server.

  • FTP Host: ftp.bannersandsignsplus.com
  • FTP User: customer
  • FTP Pass: customer
  • Directory: customeruploads

After logging in, you should create a new folder with your company name. Then find the files you want to upload to us on your MAC, and upload them to our FTP server using your FTP software.

Once the files are uploaded, be sure to contact your account specialist and let them know the files are there.

Via Email

If your files are small (under 6MB), you can email your files to us at info@bannersandsignsplus.com. For larger files over 6MB or files where fonts or linked images need to be included, please use the SendThisFile service mentioned below, FTP, or postal mail instructions to send your files.

To send larger files via email, you can sign up for a free account at SendThisFile, upload your file, and have their system send us the files to info@bannersandsignsplus.com.

Via Mail

If your files are enormous and you don't want to wait to upload them via FTP, you are welcome to send your files on CD or DVD via the mail. Just keep in mind, regular mail can take several days to arrive, so use a priority service from FedEx, UPS, or DHL if timing is critical.

Be sure to let us know the files will be arriving via mail, and follow-up to make sure they arrived as expected.
